The Twin is an entertaining and engaging Interactive Social Science Fiction. Let the readers be writers and illustrators of ideas; let the book be the inspiration and launchpad.
Leap into the future with unfettered minds!
The Twin is about a circle of friends who discover intelligent life in a parallel universe. A freelance reporter records their quest, witnessing life and death, friendship and betrayal, happiness and emptiness, love and hate. A story of twin planets, twin heroines, and twin virtues. As he follows with great empathy and admiration the strong-minded heroines, the reporter is drawn into the story himself.
The Author writes to entertain and engage. Food for thoughts served in laconic nuggets of the hashtag age. He touches on sciences now approaching inflection points where the past no longer predicts the future: artificial intelligence, robotics, genetics, virtual reality. The book together with its website aims at yet another contribution: interactive social science fiction.
The Reader will find inspiration in the technological predictions, but even more so, in the economic, moral, and spiritual choices contrasted by the twin worlds. The LGBT-friendly book has three parts:
I. A Faithful Account.
A rookie reporter is fascinated by the discovery of a parallel universe behind a wormhole, and how it all began with a bunch of Colorado teenagers. Gathering information from public records, interviews, and later by direct participation, he reports on the technological to the societal, from virtual reality suits to the original sin.

II. In Memory of Pamela.
Mourning the loss of his friend, the reporter writes a fantasy inspired by their conversations and sends it to the twin planet. Placed on an island of Bohemia, it deals with concepts from media bias to the elites and the Tower of Babel. Illustrated comics-style by a talented Earthling descendant–an artform hitherto unknown–it is widely read and heeded as Pamela’s warning to her native planet.

III. Goodbye Earth, Hello Heaven!
The adventurous reporter takes his chances as a stowaway on a shuttle run from Ottawa, Canada, to the twin planet. Flying through the wormhole, he experiences an out-of-body trip to the Book of Life, sheds twenty-four years of his earthly age, and meets the love of his life under miraculous circumstances.
BISAC Code: FIC039000 FICTION / Visionary & Metaphysical.
The Twin addresses young readers who will enjoy meeting the planetary twins and their eight female co-stars. Still, the book invites ideas from anyone interested in an interactive publishing experiment: the book and its website. Together we may ‘go where no one has gone before.’
